This statement covers processing caused by visiting spiralworld.ch and by using its contact form or optional embedded itch.io card. It does not govern independent websites that you choose to open through external links.

The key ‘spiralworld-language’ can store EN, DE or FR in your browser after you choose a language so the site can remember that preference on later visits. It is used only for that function and not for advertising, tracking, profiling or identification. The value is not intentionally transmitted to the site operator. You can block or delete local storage using your browser settings. The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. If you load it, your browser connects directly to itch.io and itch.io may process connection data and set or read its own storage or cookies under its own privacy rules.

The principal service provider receiving visitor request data for this site is Netlify, Inc., United States. Netlify may also involve affiliated companies and subprocessors in other countries when providing its service. For transfers of personal data from Switzerland to Netlify in the United States, Netlify states that it participates in the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Where an adequate level of protection does not apply, Netlify states that it uses recognised contractual transfer mechanisms, including the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in its privacy and data-processing documentation. If you voluntarily load the itch.io card, data are disclosed directly from your browser to Itch Corp. / itch.io in the United States and may be processed by its service providers. External services opened by clicking a link process data independently under their own rules.
